Postgraduate Studies
January 27,2005
My postgraduate plan for 2005 will be the following. Every year the Council on Nutrition sponsors an exciting and informative nutritional conference. This will also allow me to maintain my diplomate status in the American Clinical Board of Nutrition. This is always a well-attended conference with the presentation of much of what is new and cutting edge in the nutritional field.
I will be continuing my studies in BioSET, which will keep me, updated on Dr. Ellen Cutler’s work in regards to natural support and care for allergies and sensitivities. Her work utilizing dietary management, homeopathic detoxification, enzyme therapy, and accupressure has allowed us and other BioSET practitioners to help thousands of people with chronic health conditions. It has served as a wonderful complement to traditional care and allowed many people to feel better while using less medication.
I will also be continuing with the Functional Medicine Updates, which are monthly CD’s created and sent by a wonderful educational group started by Dr. Jeffrey Bland.
The latest program I have started is the most exciting for me right now. It is a 300 hour plus course sponsored by the Texas Chiropractic College leading to a Diplomate Internist in Family Practice by the American Board Of Chiropractic Internists. This will take me 3 to 4 years at my current rate of study to be eligible to sit for the Board examination. It will include all updated material on physical diagnosis, lab diagnosis, systems and pathology review and nutritional and natural interventions.
I look forward to the above continued studies which will allow us to continue providing the care we have been honored to offer our patients. And as always, we appreciate the continued support you have all provided by entrusting us with the care of your family and friends.
